Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
You will be warmly welcomed by Well Nepal Treks representative at your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted you to hotel and and our representative describe the itinerary of your tour. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Day
Today you are going to explore the several cultural and natural sightseeing in this ancient city Pashupatinath, Boudhanah Stupa, Swayambunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After exploring this places you will drive for Nagarkot. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu - Namo Buddha - Balthali Village
After breakfast we drive to Dhulikhel and start our hike to Namo Buddha which takes about 3 hours. You pass through small rhododendron forest, terraced fields, local village’s inhabitant by Newar, Magars and Rais, and then you will observe their lifestyle and finally reach at Namo Buddha Stupa. After visiting its area we’ll have good lunch and from here another 3 hour pleasant work will take you to the Balthali village at the altitude of 2400m. Stay Overnight in a Balthali Village Resort.
Day 4: Balthali Village Exploration
After breakfast you will visit a typical Tamang village, Dada Gaun, where a Buddhist Community lives. It is very traditional and secluded from the modern world. Here people and animals live together side by side then walk to Pada Gaun (2100m), from where one can have extremely good views of the whole Himalayan range to north and beautiful green forest of Mahabharat. It also offers great views of mountains. The walk on to Karnali, a hamlet of nature, and follow the banks of the Ladku River. Stay overnight at hotel,
Day 5: Balthali Village to Panauti and Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you take a short walk to the Newari village of Panauti which is wedged between the Punyamata and Roshi streams. Panauti forms the shape of a triangle with a serpent (naga) idol standing at each of its three corners to protect from floods. Pride of this place goes to the massive, three-tiered Indreshwor Mahadev. Some authorities believe this to be the original structure that was raised here in 1294 AD, which would make it the oldest surviving Nepal. The shrine area at the sacred confluence called the Khware’, is one of those tranquil spots that can intercept a dreamer for hours. On the way one can have an opportunity to come across lovely temples and interesting old houses, particularly beautiful areas some fourteenth century wooden temple struts. Having taken about six hours on foot journey, we drive to Kathmandu.Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Departure
Today your Balthali Village Tour comes to an end so collects the photographs and gadget. Then our representative will help you to drop to the airport or if you have plenty of time to spend in Nepal, then feel free us to join another trip or adventurous acivities like hiking, river rafting, Bunjy Jumping, Paragliding etc.
