Day 1: Kathmandu arrival

You will be warmly welcomed by Well Nepal Treks representative at your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted you to hotel and and our representative describe the itinerary of your tour. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today after breakfast you will going to explore the World Heritage Site of UNESCO, first you will start from Pashupatinath

Pashupatinath Temple: The most famous tourist site in Kathmandu is Lord Shiva’s temple, Pashupatinath Temple, which lies about 5 Km north east of Kathmandu. This temple is holiest Hindu Pilgrimage Shrines in Nepal with two tiered golden roof and four silver doors is situated of the bank of Bagmati River. Pashupatinath, 17th century temple, is a pagoda of brass and gilt with the silver plated gateways where non Hindus are not allowed to visit here but they can only see the gilded “Nandi, a bull”, Shiva’s Vehicle, inside the temple. They cannot enter the temple compound but can see the whole area from high Vantage point. It has very religious prestige and importance for Hindu’s all over the world and whole nation. Many tourists visit this holy temple every year and it is believed that one’s misfortune, bad luck, mistakes, obstacle in life and devotees sorrow are all washed away by Lord Shiva and give happy life after. Thousands of devotees gather in here during Shivaratri Festival and worship their almighty. This festival tells everything about this temple, devotees and its importance.

Then you will visit shortly Boudhanath Stupa which is the largest Stupa of the world.

Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath stupa is the largest stupa (36 M high) of Nepal which is located about 8 Km North east of Kathmandu. The stupa was built in Lichchhavi Dynasty by king Dev in 5th century. It has octagonal base and hemisphere dome is topped by the square structure painted with Lord Buddha’s eyes with steps of enlightenment to the umbrella of Nirvana. Its base is surrounded by a wall with 147 niches each with 4-5 prayer wheels. The wheels are crafted with hundreds of notes of Buddha mantra “Om Mane Padme Hum” and with each turn of wheel hundreds of messages are sent to heaven symbolically. There is a Buddhist monastery and many Tibetan monks come to study here. 

Then head out to Swayambunath Stupa situated on top of Hill which can easily be detected from any places of valley.

Swayambunath Stupa: Swayambunath stupa is a religious site in Kathmandu which sits on the top of the Padmachala hill, 175 m above the valley and 3 km to the west of the city. The word Swayambhu means "the self-existent" in English. The stupa is built 2500 years ago by the King Manadeva which offers an opportunity to study the religious harmony in Nepal. The stupa is about 20 m in diameter and 10 m high. The white hemispherical mound represents the four elements subscribing earth, water, wind and fire. Each side of the square stone has the eyes of Buddha which is the sign of true wisdom. The painted eyes on four sides represent the all seeing eyes of Buddha and are watching all the time wrong doers and good doers. This is a very religious shrine of Buddhists Tibetan monks, Brahmins priests and Newars nuns are the major worshipers here.

Then you will head to Kathmandu Durbar Square area and visit its palaces, museums, temples and other arts and crafts.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. This is a durbar of history and arts. Around here one can see artistic monuments, find the house of the living goddess i.e. Kumari temple, know Kal Bhairav temple, Hanuman dhoka and its red monkey god, and hundreds of erotic wood carvings.  The kastamandap rest house located within the durbar square is said to have been built from a single tree from where Kathmandu valley got its name. There is also a museum located at the Durbar Square which presents a complete history of Nepal's King and rulers. And stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan and Village Tour

After breakfast you will drive for Chitwan, If you want quick access then you can book Kathmandu to Bharatpur Domestic Flight which takes only 25 minutes on air. After your arrival at Chitwan you will be escorted to hotel. You will freshen up and explore the Tharu Community where you can know about the lifestyles, culture and tradition of Tharu people. Stay overnight at hotel. 

Day 4: Chitwan National Park Activities

Today is your Chitwan National Park excursion day. We start our excursion with Bird watching activities as more than 450 species of exotic birds like Giant Hornbill, Lesser; Florican and Paradise Flycatchers can be viewed in early morning. Then we go for jeep drive in Jungle where birds and animals can be highly experienced by driving a jeep through the jungle from Rapti River to the Lama Lake. Then you will finally be taken at Elephant breeding center which will be a really great experience to see the love of elephant and how they are actually raised. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Jungle Activities with Tharu Cultural Program

Today will be your full day jungle activities which we continue after quality breakfast. It is going to be an exciting day for all of us as we all are about to explore the best of this region. So, your day begins with wake up calls in morning followed by breakfast service. After which you will be taken inside the Chitwan National park. Your day will be very busy engaging in several nature activities like Jungle walk to get close with wildlife and nature, followed by Canoe ride along the Rapti River and view 2 rare species of Crocodile: Marsh Mugger and Fish eating Gharial and many birds. Then we will have lunch after which enjoy Elephant safari that provides amazing experience to see deer, one horned Rhino, wild boar, Monkey and many  more. Enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance with delicious food. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast you will lead same way back to Kathmandu on the way you will enjoy Chitwan Bazaar/Market and do some shopping and also encounter green hills, small villages, small markets, etc. As you enter Kathmandu you will be taken at Patan Durbar Square area. Patan Durbar Square is the places which is rich in art and cultural where you can explore differents temple like Krishna Temple, Banglamukhi Temple, Golden Temple, and also get chances to interact with Newar community peoples and also know their culture and tradition. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Departure

Today your Heritage and Wildlife Tour comes to an end so collects the photographs and gadget. Then our representative will help you to drop to the airport or if you have plenty of time to spend in Nepal, then feel free us to join another trip or adventurous acivities like hiking, river rafting, bunjy jumping, paragliding etc.
