Sarangkot is a beautiful high hill preached above the valley of Pokhara which is situated in the western part of Nepal at an elevation of about 1700 meters. It is very popular for sunrise, sunset and mountain scenery as it provides panoramic views of Annapurna (8091m), Manaslu (8165m), Ganesh Himal (7446m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchhre and 25 other mountains over 6000 meters high.

Dhulikhel is an ancient town which situated 30 kilometer east of Kathmandu on the side of the Arniko highway. From here one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. Dhulikhel is famous for mountain viewpoint, hiking and biking hub, but its popularity is decreasing as road-building and modernization take their toll.
