Your Holidays Tour & Trek in Nepal starts from the heart of country, Kathmandu with a sightseeing followed by sightseeing at Pokhara. Then from next day you will trek for Poon Hill which takes few days to perform and after glancing at beautiful sunrise and natures around you head back to Pokhara and later to Chitwan where you will experience Nepal’s best wildlife activities and jungle activities. This Holidays Tour & Trek in Nepal is our special package suitable for any one in good health condition. You will embrace nature, culture, traditions, lifestyle and panoramic views of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri Range, Fishtail and surrounding peaks and glorious sunrise at Poon hill.

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

You will be warmly welcomed by Well Nepal Treks representative at your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and escorted you to hotel and and our representative describe the itinerary of your tour. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Day

Today after breakfast you will going to explore the World Heritage Site of UNESCO, first you will start from Pashupatinath

Pashupatinath Temple: The most famous tourist site in Kathmandu is Lord Shiva’s temple, Pashupatinath Temple, which lies about 5 Km north east of Kathmandu. This temple is holiest Hindu Pilgrimage Shrines in Nepal with two tiered golden roof and four silver doors is situated of the bank of Bagmati River. Pashupatinath, 17th century temple, is a pagoda of brass and gilt with the silver plated gateways where non Hindus are not allowed to visit here but they can only see the gilded “Nandi, a bull”, Shiva’s Vehicle, inside the temple. They cannot enter the temple compound but can see the whole area from high Vantage point. It has very religious prestige and importance for Hindu’s all over the world and whole nation. Many tourists visit this holy temple every year and it is believed that one’s misfortune, bad luck, mistakes, obstacle in life and devotees sorrow are all washed away by Lord Shiva and give happy life after. Thousands of devotees gather in here during Shivaratri Festival and worship their almighty. This festival tells everything about this temple, devotees and its importance.

Then you will visit shortly Boudhanath Stupa which is the largest Stupa of the world.

Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath stupa is the largest stupa (36 M high) of Nepal which is located about 8 Km North east of Kathmandu. The stupa was built in Lichchhavi Dynasty by king Dev in 5th century. It has octagonal base and hemisphere dome is topped by the square structure painted with Lord Buddha’s eyes with steps of enlightenment to the umbrella of Nirvana. Its base is surrounded by a wall with 147 niches each with 4-5 prayer wheels. The wheels are crafted with hundreds of notes of Buddha mantra “Om Mane Padme Hum” and with each turn of wheel hundreds of messages are sent to heaven symbolically. There is a Buddhist monastery and many Tibetan monks come to study here. 

Then head out to Swayambunath Stupa situated on top of Hill which can easily be detected from any places of valley.

Swayambunath Stupa: Swayambunath stupa is a religious site in Kathmandu which sits on the top of the Padmachala hill, 175 m above the valley and 3 km to the west of the city. The word Swayambhu means "the self-existent" in English. The stupa is built 2500 years ago by the King Manadeva which offers an opportunity to study the religious harmony in Nepal. The stupa is about 20 m in diameter and 10 m high. The white hemispherical mound represents the four elements subscribing earth, water, wind and fire. Each side of the square stone has the eyes of Buddha which is the sign of true wisdom. The painted eyes on four sides represent the all seeing eyes of Buddha and are watching all the time wrong doers and good doers. This is a very religious shrine of Buddhists Tibetan monks, Brahmins priests and Newars nuns are the major worshipers here.

Then you will head to Kathmandu Durbar Square area and visit its palaces, museums, temples and other arts and crafts.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. This is a durbar of history and arts. Around here one can see artistic monuments, find the house of the living goddess i.e. Kumari temple, know Kal Bhairav temple, Hanuman dhoka and its red monkey god, and hundreds of erotic wood carvings.  The kastamandap rest house located within the durbar square is said to have been built from a single tree from where Kathmandu valley got its name. There is also a museum located at the Durbar Square which presents a complete history of Nepal's King and rulers. And stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

After breakfast you will drive for Pokhara or you can go via flight. After your arrival at Pokhara you will be taken to your hotel then get fresh and you will move out to explore Pokhara by boating in Phewa lake and visit several places like Brindabasini Temple and surrounding of hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Pokhara sightseeing tour

Early in the morning you will  hike to Sarangkot, beautiful village sitting on top of hill just 5 KM away from Lakeside of Pokhara, and from where you can view beautiful sunrise over the snowy capped mountain and it also offers panoramic view of green hills, Pokhara Valley, rural villages and several snowcapped mountains like Annappurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and surrounding peaks.  You can perform paragliding here which will add more adventure in your tour. Then you will have sightseeing at David’s fall, Mahendra Cave, Phewa Lake, White Peace Pagoda etc. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghorepani (2750 M).

After having quality breakfast you head to Nayapul by private car which is one hour drive and same day trek to Ulleri. From Ulleri you start trekking further ahead with spectacular views of Mount Annapurna south (7219m) & Himchuli (6441m) and places like Banthati and Tangethati from where Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167M), highest of Annapurna Region, looks stunning. After about 6 hours walk you rest at lodge.

Day 6: Poon Hill Trek and back to Ghorepani

Early morning you will climb up the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon hill i.e. an icon of Annapurna region, from where you can encounter great views of mountains and nature landscapes of mustang and Pokhara valley are seen. At sunrise everything seems so beautiful that words are not enough to describe it. Then you will head back to Ghorepani and you will explore this village and know its history, shop its local products and crafts. Stay overnight at hotel. 

Day 7: Ghorepani to Ghandruk

After breakfast you will follow the trails to Ghandruk. While trekking, you will encounter forests, waterfalls, thick dense rhododendron forest (making the forest Red), gardens of beautiful flowers, astonishing cherry blossom flowers, mountainous scenery of Annapurna, fish tail and other. Finally you will rest at Ghandruk which is settlement of mostly Gurungs. 

Day 8: Ghandruk to Nayapul to Pokhara

After breakfast you will explore the village of Ghandruk and trail down to Nayapul from where you’ll be driven back to Pokhara. It’s about 1.5 hr ride from Nayapul. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Pokhara to Chitwan and Tharu village Tour

After breakfast you drive to Chitwan. It is 148 Km south east of Pokhara and takes only 3 hours to get there. After your arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. You will freshen up and have good lunch. Rest of the day you will visit Tharu Villages with our guide where you can learn about Tharu’s lifestyles, culture, festivals and traditions. Then visit national park visitor’s center where you can learn about the history of national park and wildlife. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Chitwan National Park Activities and Tharu Cultural Show

After breakfast you start your day with Bird watching activities as more than 450 species of exotic birds like Giant Hornbill, Lesser; Florican and Paradise Flycatchers can be viewed in early morning. Then you will be taken inside the Chitwan National park. Your day will be very busy engaging in several nature activities like Jungle walk to get close with wildlife and nature, followed by Elephant safari that provides amazing experience to see deer, one horned Rhino, wild boar, Monkey and many  more. Enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance also called as Tharu stick dance with great dinner. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast you headed same way back to Kathmandu, on the way you will enjoy Chitwan Bazaar/Market along with natural beauty of Nepal. Today you can enjoy Kathmandu yourself engaging in shopping, recreational activities or restaurants or enjoy hotel facilities. At night, you will have great Nepali dinner with your crew and teammates with great Nepali music. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Farewell

Today your Holidays Tour and Treks In Nepal comes to an end so collects the photographs and gadget. Then our representative will help you to drop to the airport or if you have plenty of time to spend in Nepal, then feel free us to join another trip or adventurous acivities like hiking, river rafting, Bunjy Jumping, Paragliding etc.
